A weekend of local caving fun based at Whitewalls with a whisky tasting event held on the Saturday evening.
The caving started on Friday afternoon with a trip to continue the high-level bolting project in Aggy Main Passage, ascending another route up into the unknown. This was scaled almost to the top and completed by a second team the following day. Other ventures in Agen Allwedd on Saturday included a Grand Circle trip and further digging in Spider Chamber (Midnight Passage), while other members went diving in White Lady Cave in the Nedd Fechan valley. This was all followed by a whisky tasting evening at Whitewalls, where all participants brought a bottle of whisky (or two) to share and compare. There were two caving trips on Sunday, one to the Hall of the Mountain King in Craig a Ffynnon and another to Busman’s Holiday via Ogof Cnwc.
