Yorkshire Weekend July 2023

This was a somewhat wetter weekend than you might expect for July! But that didn’t stop a hardy team from journeying up to Yorkshire for adventures underground.

The Saturday caving trip was a circuit in the Easegill cave system from the County Pot entrance. Here an interesting journey was had heading in via Upper Trident and returning via Mancunian Way and Molluscan Hall – which is a bit of a collector’s piece and a good variation from the usual trade route.

Two caves in Kingsdale were visited on Sunday, with Bull Pot visited in the morning before unpacking and repacking the SRT ropes for an additional trip to Aquamole Pot located nearby.
